My favourite work is crafting and co-designing practices for radical imagination together with community. These approaches take many forms from audiovisual, meditative guidance to sensorial, kincentric nature connection. I explore and adapt techniques that will support participants and collaborators to expand the horizons of their creative imagination towards new/old possibilities in relation to their goals e.g. engaging the more-than-human or working towards more liberated ways of working.
The images are from one example of this work, a seasonal 'Equinox Nature Immersion' I designed and facilitated for the Falay Transition Design Collective in September 2024. This was a nourishing gathering sensing and reflecting together with nature, honouring the seasonal shift within our lives, energies and focus that can happen at the Autumn Equinox. A time which marks the beginning of Autumn and the descent into longer nights for many in the Northern Hemisphere.
We were inspired by nature and the balance of light/dark of the Equinox to seek deeper insight around a topic of exploration that participants defined in the session. It was accessible from anywhere and predominantly self-guided reflection - combining remote, small group discussions with meditative, offline and individual nature experience in participants' context (e.g. garden, local park/nature, houseplants, view of the sky from home etc.)
