Notes from Decolonising Service Design in Government Discussion
Together with Sonia Turcotte and Clara Greo, I co-hosted an open discussion on Decolonising Service Design in Government. It was a beautiful session to be a part of. We dove deep and swam wide, and there was a wonderful range of people in the discussion.

Guiding Strategies For System Change with a Futures-Led, Human-Centred Design Approach
Based on case studies from collaborations between Futurice and client organisations, this paper posits that designers can support organisations to more confidently address longer-term, systemic issues and increase their positive social and environmental impact by incorporating futures thinking and systemic practices. Subsequently, developing more paradigm-shifting and regenerative future visions and strategies.

Bonfire Tales for Regenerative Futures — DARF Event Dialogue
All around us we see evidence of the capitalist paradigm breaking down, it is not working for people or the planet. In spite of this, how can we envision a way to contribute to safe, fair, just and regenerative futures? In October 2022 Design Activists for Regenerative Futures (DARF) voluntary collective hosted an exploratory dialogue on this question with our new seasonal event ‘Bonfire Tales’. This article shares key insights and takeaways.

Human-centred Design Beyond COP26: Shifting systems
The complex and interconnected crises of our times, from the climate emergency to growing inequality, requires every industry to step up their contribution towards a more green and just transition including human-centred designers like me. I share my reflections on how I'm shifting my approach to integrate systems thinking and intersectional environmentalism in light of COP26.
